McIntosh, 27, is one of the latest celebrities to have seemingly fallen victim to hackers who have uploaded a number of nude photos of famous people to the internet in recent weeks.
It is thought the images came from his ex-fiancée's iCloud account, which had been hacked.
However, things took a nasty turn when Brook tried to inform him of the rumours – and he insinuated she had leaked them on purpose.
In a tweet, which has since been deleted, Brook is thought to have told her ex that the photos were online and he should call her.
However, he responded: "silly me for sending pictures to someone I thought I could trust but then would leak them #byaccident (sic)".
Brook, 34, hit back: "Your Ego is beyond. David all my US iCloud pics are online not just of you. Be a grown up."
On Sunday, the couple exchanged further blows when McIntosh repeatedly tried to get in touch with his ex. Brook took a screenshot of her phone, showing a number of missed FaceTime calls; she then sent the image to Metisha Schaefer, who is now allegedly dating McIntosh.
She simply wrote: "Today!!!! Errrrr babes he's all yours lose my number DMac (sic)."
Brook and McIntosh first met on New Years Eve 2013 at a party. Following a whirlwind romance, they announced their engagement in April. Last month, the couple confirmed they were no longer together. Issuing a statement at the time, Brook tweeted: "It's a sad day but I wanted to share with you that David and I are no longer engaged. I love and respect him and wish him all the best."
