The actress, known for her role in 'House of Cards', is thought to have ended the relationship during the summer, but details are only just emerging.
According to Us Weekly, a source is quoted as saying: "She got swept up in the engagement last Christmas, but then their schedules got crazy and she realised it wasn't the right decision."
Wright, 48, is also thought to have had concerns regarding the couples' 14-year age gap, and "couldn't deal with him [Foster] anymore", the source added. "The gap just ended up being too much. Ben was kind of immature. She couldn't deal with him anymore."
The couple first met in 2011 on the set of movie 'Rampart', and it is thought they started dating in February 2012.
