Dougie Poynter Denies Engagement

Dougie Poynter has denied reports he is engaged to Ellie Goulding.

Earlier this week, his girlfriend sparked speculation that they were to marry after she was spotted wearing a gold ring on her engagement finger. However, speaking to Digital Spy at yesterday's (13 November) Royal Variety Performance, the 26-year-old said: "No. It was just a ring that fit on that finger. It didn't really look like an engagement though, did it?"


His McBusted bandmate, Harry Judd, added: "That would have been a lame engagement ring Doug."

Poynter and Goulding, 27, were first reported to be dating last year, but both refused to comment on the claims. In May of this year, the pair revealed they were in a relationship.
