The couple's son, Rossa, was born on Monday evening, weighing 6 lbs and 15 oz.
Frampton, who is nicknamed 'The Jackal', revealed the news on his Twitter account last night, as well as sharing the first images of the newborn.
The 27-year-old boxer was quickly inundated with congratulatory messages, including one from his manager Barry McGuigan, who wrote: "Many congratulations to Christine and Carl Frampton on the birth of their baby boy. Happy days."
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, Frampton's father, Craig, is also quoted as saying: "We are all over the moon. Christine and the wee man are doing great. Carl is just delighted."
Frampton, the IBF Super Bantamweight champion, and his wife are already parents to three-year-old daughter Carla.
The couple have been in a relationship for a number of years and tied the knot in October 2013.
