The confirmation comes after many media outlets claimed the reality television star was actually pregnant with a baby girl.
The news was revealed during this weekend's episode of 'Kourtney & Khloé Take The Hamptons'.
While Kourtney and her sister Khloé were delighted with the news, her partner, Scott Disick, did not appear as thrilled. He was caught saying that he was "nervous, very nervous" about the announcement, but when he was challenged over his lack of enthusiasm, he replied: "I'm fine now. I'm excited."
His partner later admitted: "I am so happy we're having a boy. It's going to be perfect for our family."
Kardashian, 35, and Disick, 31, have been in a relationship since early 2007. They are already parents to a son, Mason, who was born in December 2009, and a daughter named Penelope who was born in July 2012. It is understood their third child is due later this month.
