Caroline Flack has sent a cryptic message to her ex-boyfriend Jack Street, just days after it was claimed they had ended their relationship.
Flack, 35, is a finalist of this year's Strictly Come Dancing and last week it was revealed the couple had separated after 18 months together. The television personality was said to have been left "devastated" by the break-up, but the pair's romance had ended amicably.
However, over the weekend Street – who is a music manager – took to Twitter to share his support for his ex, encouraging people to vote for her.
He wrote: "Vote for @carolineflack1 6225210. You'd be silly not too. (sic)"
However, Flack later replied: "@jackb_street easing your guilt??? Fill yourself with glee jack (sic)."
The message has since been deleted. She later returned to the social networking site to tell her followers: "It's not bad to be sad."
Flack and Street were in a relationship for 18 months, but their busy work schedules were said to have been a factor in the split. Over the last few months, Flack has been busy with Strictly rehearsals, while her ex, who manages singer Sam Smith, has been spending a lot of time away lately.
A source is quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: "Jack is an extremely high thought of music manager and it's time consuming looking after Sam – the hottest new talent to come out of Britain in a long time.
"Jack has been on the other side of the world to Caroline as she competes in Strictly so he hasn't been around. It's one of those unavoidable things but it has put an awful lot of pressure on their relationship."
