The actress is understood to have given birth last Tuesday, but details have only just emerged.
In a statement to People magazine, the couple said: "We are over the moon and madly in love."
They have called their daughter Kaya Klitschko.
Panettiere, 25, and Klitschko, 38, started dating in 2009 but separated amicably two years later. In April 2013, the actress confirmed the couple were back together and that October they announced their engagement.
