The actor married his long-time partner last month at Babington House in Somerset, six months after they announced in The Times newspaper that they were engaged.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 33-year-old opened up about the couple's big day, saying: "[Hannah] was a good half hour late!
"She has never been on time for anything in her life."
With this in mind, he continued: "My job was to find the venue. I made sure the place where we were having the reception was next to the chapel so that when she didn't turn up on time I could go, 'Wait! We're coming!'.
"Everyone else was really stressed, but I was kind of relaxed. [I knew] that she'd never been on time for pretty much anything in her life. Her grandfather had to help in summoning her."
