The former 'Saved By The Bell' actress confirmed the news to People magazine, adding that she and her husband Brady Smith are expecting a baby boy.
The couple are already parents to four-year-old daughter Harper.
The actress had previously said she that as long as their future child was healthy, the couple would be happy with any gender.
She said: "A brother or a sister for Harper! We will take either as long as it's happy and healthy."
Revealing the news that she was expecting a baby boy, the actress shared an image of the family standing around a gender reveal cake, which was blue inside.
Thiessen, 40, and her actor husband married in 2005. They welcomed their first child, Harper, in 2010.
