During an interview on BBC Radio 2, the 57-year-old said: "I'm dizzy with delirium and ditzy with dippiness. It's really thrilling. In Chaucerian English, I'm bathing in a bath of bliss. It's just great."
However, the QI host added that the couple have yet to go on honeymoon.
"Our actual honeymoon will be after the BAFTAs [8 February] when we go off to a secret location. We're planning a huge adventure. We start in Cuba, where we've booked a romantic hideaway, and then go to about three or four more countries."
Fry and his husband, 27-year-old Elliot Spencer, married at a registry office in Dereham, Norfolk last month. The couple were first spotted together last November, but it is thought they started dating last summer.
