Nicole Scherzinger has broken her silence following her latest separation from Lewis Hamilton.
Earlier this week, it was reported the couple had called time on their romance and now the singer has confirmed the news.
Speaking to Dan Wootton at The Sun newspaper, the 36-year-old said: "I'm devastated that it didn't work out. It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together.
"I love Lewis and I know he loves me. We wish nothing but happiness and the very best for one another. I'm trying to stay strong in my faith right now."
A reason for the latest split has not been given, but it is thought the couple's long-distance relationship played a key part in their decision. While Scherzinger is currently starring on London's West End, she primarily resides in Los Angeles, while F1 champ Hamilton is based in Monaco.
Other sources have claimed the couple had a series of rows over Christmas, with Hamilton, 30, reportedly not ready to settle down.
The couple first met at the European Music Awards in November 2007 and started dating shortly after. They split briefly in January 2010 but later reconciled, only to split again in late 2011. They decided to give their relationship another chance in January 2012, but by July 2013, had called time on the romance. They confirmed they were back together in March 2014.
