The couple, who announced their engagement in November last year, are set to tie the knot in May.
And according to The Sun, the former Spice Girl plans to have a mini reunion of sorts – with her ex-bandmates all said to be attending the ceremony. The publication has said Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham have all cleared their schedules in order to attend their friend's wedding.
A source is quoted by the paper as saying: "Geri is desperate for all the girls to be there. Some of their schedules are tighter than others but Geri's happy it appears there'll be a full-on reunion at her ceremony."
However, two people who won't be in attendance, will be Horner's parents. Allegedly, the insider claims that they have been left "devastated" over the 41-year-old's decision to leave his partner Beverley after 14 years together. Beverley had given birth to their first child together, Olivia, shortly before he left her.
"You can say that his parents are absolutely devastated. We won't be going to the wedding. There is a lot more to this story than people know about – to do with his ex-partner."
While a friend claimed: "Over the years Christian has been very close to his parents – particularly to his dad who shares his love of motor racing – but recent events have thrown everything into doubt. His mum is particularly upset.
"It's a real shame and everyone involved is upset. Weddings are expected to bring families closer together, but this engagement has driven a wedge between people."
Halliwell, 42, and Horner, 41, first met in 2009 and confirmed they were in a relationship in March 2014. In November, they announced their engagement via The Times newspaper. Halliwell has an eight-year-old daughter, Bluebell, from a previous relationship.
