Lena Headey Confirms Pregnancy

Lena Headey has said she is pregnant with her second child.

The 'Game of Thrones' actress confirmed the news in a short statement to People magazine.

The 41-year-old said: "I'm happy to confirm that I'm having my second child this summer. I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time."


She has not mentioned the identity of the child's father.

Headey is already a mum to four-year-old son Wylie from her former marriage to Peter Loughran. The couple married in May 2007 and welcomed their son in 2010. They separated the following year and their divorce was finalised in December 2013.
