Claire Sweeney has said she loves being a mother.
The actress welcomed her first child, a son named Jaxon, in October last year. It was the first child for the 43-year-old and her then ex-fiancé Daniel Riley.
Following the birth of her son, Sweeney took time off from work and speaking on Lorraine on Tuesday, she gushed: "I'm just loving it [motherhood]. Really, really loving it.
"You hear all those cliches about how much you love [your child] and they become the centre of your universe. Until it happens, you don't understand it."
Sweeney and Riley separated in late 2013, but in January 2014, Sweeney fell pregnant with the couple's child. She has since said that they continued to remain good friends, and it is understood they are now back together.
