The 'Broadchurch' actress confirmed the news to the Daily Mirror after she explained why she would not be taking part in a big-screen remake of her short film 'The Karman Line', which is being directed by Spike Lee.
She said: "I'm pregnant with baby number three. We're all very excited.
"I love Spike Lee and would certainly take his call but he'll have to wait a while before we start anything.
"Obviously, the baby is my priority and we're all very excited. I'm very fortunate that work and family are thriving at the same time. I feel very, very lucky."
It will be the third child for the 41-year-old and her husband Ed Sinclair, who are parents to sons Finn, nine, and seven-year-old Hall.
