The couple, whose relationship has been in the spotlight recently due to allegations that Malik cheated on his fiancée, are said to have chosen the fairytale venue for their big day.
According to Heat magazine, the pair have previously spoken of their love for the theme park, while a number of cryptic clues from relatives of the couple have led many to assume that a wedding is coming soon.
For example, earlier this month, Malik's sister Safaa shared an image of Perrie in a wedding dress. She had captured the image: "Cinderella #loveweddings". The picture was deleted shortly afterwards.
Another image, this time from an account linked to the account of Sophia Smith, the girlfriend of One Direction's Liam Payne, showed Edwards standing in front of a white carriage just like Cinderella's and a large pile of cream invitations. The singer's best friend, Katherine Spires, also revealed that she will be going to Disneyland in June.
A source is quoted by Star magazine as saying: "Perrie is a huge Disney fan. So what better way for Zayn's family to support her and encourage her to press on with wedding plans, than reminding her of her favourite fairytale. The family are hell-bent on Perrie and Zayn having their own happy ever after."
Malik and Edwards, both 21, first met on The X Factor in 2011. They started dating shortly afterwards and in August 2013, the couple announced they were engaged.
