Mark Wright Discusses Pre-Wedding Diet

Mark Wright has opened up about the strict exercise routine and diet he has undertaken ahead of his wedding to Michelle Wright.

The former TOWIE star has lost two stone in recent months, and speaking to The Mirror, he revealed the preparations he has carried out.

"I've lost a lot of body fat. I get up early to run a few miles every morning on an empty stomach. If you haven't eaten any breakfast, you don't feel sick. Then, in the afternoon, I do weights training. I eat tons of protein, but no carbs. No carbohydrates at all."

Wright, 28, lost around a stone and a half after he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing last year and added that he started going to the gym in January in order to bulk out his frame. He is allowing himself some cheat days before his wedding, however, as he enjoys three stag parties – the first of which was held last weekend at Faces nightclub in Essex. Another is expected to be held in Las Vegas next month.

Wright and Keegan, 27, first met at a New Year's Eve party in Dubai in 2012. Nine months later, in September 2013, they returned to Dubai where Wright proposed. It has been widely rumoured that the couple will tie the knot this summer, at a stately home in Suffolk.
