There has been speculation in recent weeks that the couple are no longer together, but this week, 22-year-old Delevingne has taken to her social networking accounts to share a number of cryptic and heartbreak-related posts.
For example, on Monday (20 April), the model shared an image on Instagram which showed a crying stick figure holding a broken heart. Written alongside, were the words: "It's hurting again".
This was followed by a quote from the poet Rumi, which read: "One day your heart will take you to your lover. One day your soul will carry you to the beloved. Don't get lost in your pain, know that one day your pain will become your cure."
On Tuesday, Delevingne shared another quote. This one said: "I've learned more from pain that I could've ever learned from pleasure."
She later posted a throwback image of St Vincent when she was younger, to which she then tagged to the singer's Instagram page. No caption was added to the picture, expect for a love heart emoji.
While neither Delevingne nor St Vincent have officially commented on the claims, The Sun has reported that the couple have gone their separate ways.
A source is quoted by the publication as saying: "You can tell she's [Cara] been upset and distracted this week. It might have been early days but she was head over heels in love with this girl. They had a real connection.
"But Vincent thought she was always coming second to Cara's career and wanted more. Cara's shocked though, it's left her heartbroken."
Delevingne and St Vincent, 32, were first romantically linked in December 2014.
