However, according to the MailOnline, the 'Coronation Street' star is hopeful they can get their romance back on track.
The insider is quoted as saying: "Kym is not attending [Soap Awards] as a single woman, her and Dan are only having some time apart.
"It should be very exciting being up for such a big award but obviously issues in her personal life have put a big dampener on things.
"It's been an upsetting and draining week for both Kym and Dan. They're still hopeful of sorting things out but it's very difficult with the media spotlight on them."
Marsh, 38, and Hooper, 32, were first reported to be in a relationship in April 2014, but the romance was surrounded by controversy after it was alleged that Hooper had cheated on his former girlfriend Stephanie Waring, who was also a friend of Marsh. Waring later said the couple had separated shortly before Hooper started dating Marsh.
While Marsh initially denied she was dating the personal trainer, he soon took to Twitter to share a black and white photo of them kissing. In December 2014, the couple announced their engagement.
