1 In 4 Fail To Remember Wedding Vows

One in four people do not remember their wedding vows, it has been revealed.

The survey, commissioned by Sony, found that the main reason for so many Brits forgetting that special moment is due to the 'wedding day chaos'.

54% of those polled said the hustle and bustle of their big day was why they were unable to remember their vows. From photos, to partying, to having friends and family all in one place, a number of factors were found to add up for the memory loss.

Meanwhile, when it comes to wedding fears, 21% said they were worried about looking bad in their wedding video. Interestingly, over a third of respondents admitted that their biggest wedding regret was not having a video of the day. When it comes to actually filming the ceremony and the day itself, one in 10 said they would trust their father to with the camera, with 33% calling on their best friend instead.

Frederik Lange, Head of Digital Imaging at Sony UK and Ireland, commented: "These days, there are a lot of options to consider on how to capture your big day – everyone should have a wedding video, it doesn't need to be a big expense.

"We all remember wedding videos of years gone by with grainy footage – that's now a thing of the past."
