Kym Marsh has opened up about her failed engagement to Dan Hooper.
The 38-year-old confirmed that the couple had decided to end their year-long romance in her latest column for OK! magazine.
Her comments follow weeks of speculation that the pair would no longer walk down the aisle.
The 'Coronation Street' actress wrote: "I'm very sad to have to have to tell you that Dan Hooper and I have split up. I was hoping things would sort themselves out but for one reason or another it doesn't feel like we can fix things or get back on track so we've decided to go our separate ways."
She added: "Dan's a fantastic, lovely guy and I've never been happier than when things were working with us, but sometimes things just don't feel right no matter how much you want it to."
Marsh and Hooper, 32, were first reported to be in a relationship in April 2014. In December of that year, the couple announced their engagement.
