Jake, 22, popped the question on stage at Manchester Arena with a little help from his friend Ed Sheeran.
On Instagram Jake said: "A year ago today I met her at Manchester Arena, so it was only right, with a little help from my friend, that this happened. Best day of my life."
The picture shows Jake on one knee holding out the ring to Jesy.
He also thanked Ed in Twitter for helping him.
