Johnny Vegas and his wife Maia Dunphy have welcomed their first child together.
The comedian confirmed the news via Twitter.
Sharing an image of the family's shoes all lined up, he captioned it: "He's got his Mother's eyes & my taste in footwear. Tom Laurence, born last Friday, 7lb 2 ounces of nonstop pooing."
He also thanked the hospital's maternity team, saying his wife and son "couldn't hae been in more dedicated, caring hands."
He later added: "Overwhelmed by your lovely response to our new arrival Twitter, thanks so much everyone. Will do my best to read through all your messages."
Vegas, 44, and Dunphy, 38, announced their pregnancy news in January. The couple married in April 2011 and this is their first child together. Vegas is also a father to an 11-year-old son from his previous marriage to Catherine 'Kitty' Donnelly. The couple married in August 2002 and their divorce was finalised in March 2008, after the couple had lived apart for more than two years.
