Helen revealed to OK! Magazine that she was in labour for three days and was almost two weeks overdue.
Speaking about the birth, she told the publication: "Matilda was in the back-to-back position, which made it even more painful. At one point my back was hiring so much that I screamed out for the doctor to give me an epidural."
However, she said the labour made Matilda's arrival more special.
She continued: "I couldn't keep my eyes off her. It made the pain I was in all worth it - she's a dream come true."
Her partner, Scott Sinclair, who is the father of six week old Matilda, said he had a new found respect for Helen after watching her go through a three day labour.
He said:: "I love that we're a proper little family now."
