Julianne Hough Is Engaged

Julianne Hough has announced her engagement to Brooks Laich.

The couple revealed their news via an Instagram post.

Hough, 27, shared an image of the couple in an embrace, which she holds out her hand towards the camera, with her engagement ring visible on her ring finger. She captioned the snap: "We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love".


31-year-old Laich, who is a professional hockey player, shared the same image and message on his Instagram account.

The pair started dating in November 2014 after being introduced by mutual friends. They are understood to have been on holiday in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, when Laich proposed to his girlfriend.
