The professional Strictly Come Dancing star made the comments during an interview with The Sun newspaper.
Rihanoff, 37, also defended the couple's romance during the interview, hitting out at those who have criticised the couple. The dancer and Cohen, a former rugby player, met on the BBC1 talent show in 2013 when they were paired together. Speculation that they had grown close soon followed, but they both denied the claims at the time.
The following year, Cohen's 13-year marriage to Abby came to an end, with some alleging he had been in a relationship with Rihanoff. Earlier this year, Cohen and Rihanoff confirmed they were dating.
Speaking to the publication, she said of the romance: "We are in a committed relationship, and of course, that involves love. We're constantly together – either at my place or his. We're still very new so there's much more left to grow hopefully. It's a work in progress."
Extracts from the dancer's upcoming autobiography have also been released, and in those, she hits out at claims she is a "home wrecker".
In the Sunday Mirror, serialised extracts include: "Apparently I am at the 'centre of relationship breakdowns', I have a 'flirtatious nature' and I am now 'banned from dancing with married men'.
"I sound like a pretty horrible person, don't I? But this book is my chance to tell you about the real me."
Ben, 36, and his wife Abby first met in 1995. They tied the knot in 2003 and their twin daughters – Harriette and Isabelle – were born in 2008. In September 2014, the couple confirmed they had split, with Abby said to have filed for divorce. Rihanoff, meanwhile, was previously in a relationship with boxer Joe Calzaghe. The couple also met on Strictly Come Dancing when they were partnered together. It has been alleged that the couple started dating while the sportsman was still with his girlfriend.
