Natalie Imbruglia has admitted she is still single, despite being divorced for seven years.
The singer opened up about her previous relationships in a recent interview with OK! Australia.
Discussing her divorce from Daniel Johns in 2008, the 40-year-old said the split made her want to be alone.
She explained: "Standing on my own two feet for so long has made me self-sufficient. I'm a survivor. And sure, I can get lonely sometimes, but then you can get lonely in a crowd."
She added, however, that she has dated since the divorce: "I have been in love and had relationships, you just don't hear about it because I'm a private person," she told the publication.
Imbruglia and Johns, frontman for rock band Silverchair, dated for three years before they tied the knot in Queensland, Australia, on New Year's Eve 2003. In January 2008, the couple announced they were to divorce, saying they lived too far apart. Imbruglia lived in Windsor, England, while Johns lived in Australia.
