The Emmerdale actor made the comments to Reveal magazine as he attended the Inside Soap Awards 2015.
Thomas became a first-time father in September 2014, after his girlfriend, Caroline Daly, gave birth to their son Teddy. Now, the actor has said he loves fatherhood and would like more children.
He told the publication: "Fatherhood is amazing. I love it. It's just the best thing. I want so much more."
