Michael Bublé has hit out at claims his former relationship with Emily Blunt ended because he was unfaithful.
His comments come just weeks after Ms Blunt was asked by DJ Howard Stern earlier this month about cheating allegations in the couple's relationship. She replied: "I don't know. It's complicated. I never want to talk about it. I can't do it."
Many then assumed that this was confirmation that the Canadian singer had cheated on her, but speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the 40-year-old has said it is untrue.
"It didn't end because of cheating," he stressed. "It ended because we weren't right for each other, and we are now exactly where we're supposed to be in our lives.
"Emily is a beautiful and loving person, and I'm grateful for the time I had with her, for the relationship. Without it, I wouldn't have had a chance to fall in love with myself enough to be with a woman like my wife."
Blunt, 32, and Bublé met at Australia's Logie Awards in 2005 but ended their relationship in 2008. Blunt later met actor John Krasinski and the pair tied the knot in 2010. They have a 19-month-old daughter, Hazel. Bublé, meanwhile, is married to actress and model Luisana Lopilato. They have a two-year-old son, Noah, and are currently expecting their second child together.
