Speaking to The Sun newspaper the pal revealed Riah was left heartbroken.
Her pal said: "It was a turbulent relationship, but she never thought he would stray.
"The irony was that while they were together, he was paranoid she was cheating and made her life very difficult.
"He hated that she was glamour modelling and tried to pressure her out of it. It is quite unbelievable when you consider how he went on to hurt her."
