Joanne asked Danny to marry him earlier this year after 25 years together.
The pair have three children together.
He said: "I'm leaving all that to Joanne, she's deciding when and where we're having our wedding. I'm not bothered about Joanne taking control of the proposal either - no one's really taken the p**s out of me."
He continued: "Joanne's the love of my life, there's no two ways about it. I think of her every day and when she's not there I miss her with an ache in my heart."
