The 35-year-old took to Twitter on Tuesday to tell her followers; "Ok I'm 52 lbs up today... and I still have 6 weeks to go! I got my work cut out for me!!!! (sic)."
It is thought the reality television star gained 50 pounds during her first pregnancy with daughter North in 2013.
This will be the second child for Kardashian and her husband Kanye West. They have already announced that they are expecting a son, due around Christmastime.
