Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's husband, Jean-Bernard, has hit out at claims that the couple's marriage is in trouble. His comments come as the couple were said to be spending more and more time apart recently, even attending public events alone.
The chef, however, has now taken to Instagram to hit out at the reports that they are on the verge of going their separate ways. According to The Mirror, he explained his absence, writing: "I normally don't read or comment... but the trust is that even when my dad died I put my life on the line for my wife. Yes I am working like everybody else to put food on the table but my priority is my wife as this is the last person that is family.
"This is just nonsense. What matters is family and my wife is my only one left so if she needs me I am always going to be there. My wife Cheryl is my priority nothing else."
He added that he had been in London recently, stating: "If she needs me on X Factor I will be there like I always did in the past."
It is understood Jean-Bernard has missed the last two X Factor live shows, of which his wife is a judge, because he has been away on Business in Dubai, Italy and France.
