The singer made the comments in an interview with The Mirror, where he confirmed he is single, and hoping for romance while appearing on the reality television show.
He told the publication: "I am looking for love. I've been looking for a girlfriend for a while. I've been single too long.
"At the moment, my perfect girl is Ariana Grande. I think she's the most stunning girl on the planet."
However, despite his hopes, he added that his mother has warned him to be on his best behaviour while he is away filming.
"Before I left, Mum said, 'Don't do anything stupid and don't say anything you're going to regret'," the 22-year-old confessed.
'I'm A Celeb...' returns to ITV on Sunday, 15 November.
