Olly Murs has hinted at his embarrassment after awkwardly flirting with Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence.
Murs, 31, met the 25-year-old at the BBC Radio 1 studios as host Nick Grimshaw prepared to interview her and her Hunger Games co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. The trio are currently on a promotional tour for the final movie which is available in cinemas from next week.
The meeting also comes just weeks after Murs said he would love to kiss the actress. However, it was far from a smooth encounter, as the former X Factor singer was left nervous at coming face-to-face with the star.
At one stage during the interview, he asked Lawrence: "Who is your ideal man?"
While her co-stars started to laugh, she replied: "I'm going to start with English", but then awkwardly added: "Umm I don't know... Uhh... You... I don't have enough information about you to list out all your qualities because we just met, but you seem really wonderful."
Despite his embarrassment, however, Murs still managed to ask the actress for a selfie. He later shared the photo on social media, captioning the snap: "Haha seriously need to go back to flirting school after meeting Miss Lawrence (sic)."
