The 26-year-old was eliminated from the singing competition on Sunday evening, but now former friends have hit out, claiming she is "evil" and that she tore a family apart.
According to The Sun, Ms Michael was seeing Ashley Fenton-Burgess, but at the same time, he was in a relationship with a woman named Ellen – who was raising her and Fenton-Burgess's son.
Ms Michael is said to have had a three-year affair with Fenton-Burgess, but then taunted his partner about it and how it broke up her family.
A source is quoted by The Sun newspaper as telling Ellen: "I'm glad I hurt you so much. I'm delighted your family's ripped apart. No regrets. So f**king what if I'm a b***h. Wish you all the unhappiness in the world – oh wait – I've done that already."
A former friend of Monica's is also quoted by the publication as saying: "The girl is just evil. She tormented Ellen and left her in a mess. Her whole life was in ruins for a long time."
The Sun added that while Monica has confirmed she was in a relationship with Ashley, it was nine months before she discovered her lover was already in a relationship.
