The couple, who both star in reality television show The Only Way Is Essex, had been on a few dates in the last series of the show, even sealing their romance with a kiss during the final episode. However, in a new TOWIE video, Armstrong has admitted that the couple are wanting to take things slow, and that they are both "single".
She explained: "Me and James got a little bit close and we started dating and spending a bit more time together, but I think we both want to take things slow.
"He's definitely single, I'm single. It's a very messy, complicated situation because you shouldn't really be dating your ex, but it's just the way it is at the moment."
Despite her thoughts on the situation, Lockie recently said that he would no longer be asking his ex for a reunion, saying that it was up to her if they were to give their romance another go. He was quoted as saying: "I think I've made enough moves. It's her turn. If she wants me she's got to come and get me."
