Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs on ITV this weekend, the Formula 1 driver says he is not in a relationship, and is currently enjoying the single life.
He told the host: "It's different. I've been in two relationships in my life; [one when] I was 18 to 22 and [then] 23 to 30, and so I missed the single life that all my friends had.
"Now I've just been trowing myself at work. I've worked harder than ever this year; I've travelled like crazy, I've experienced everything I wanted to experience."
Ross then asked the 30-year-old: "I imagine seeing as we know that your ethos is to live life to the fullest, then indeed you do occasionally enjoy companionship?"
Lewis smiled in response, before he added: "Occasionally, yes. I'm enjoying it; it's really good fun. It's a fun period of time in my life."
Lewis was in a seven-year on-and-off relationship with Nicole Scherzinger, until their split in February of this year.
