Reece decided to end the couple's relationship after the actress started to flirt with her fellow housemate Jeremy McConnell. She had previously voiced her concerns that she may not be able to remain faithful to her partner while she was taking part on the show. Despite flirting continuously with the former Mr Ireland, Davis has said she loved her partner, claiming: "I love him [Sam] so much, I want to see him. He is the one thing that makes me happy.
"I know Jeremy likes us. We cause mischief but I would be devastated if Sam is sad outside. I know he keeps looking at me like he's in love with me."
The night before, the Hollyoaks' actress was caught sharing a hug with McConnell before they both said, 'I love you' in bed. However, on Monday, Davis tried to explain to McConnell that she was only having a laugh, to which he replied: "No need to tell me that. It was a bit more than a cuddle. We were over flirting! Look, I don't want to back off."
He later appeared in the diary room, and told Big Brother: "She's a gorgeous girl. She's sound, of course I flirt with her. It's going to get worse.
"She's so funny. It feels like a proper genuine connection in here. I'm a flirt, I'm a single bloke. I can't get away from it, attraction isn't a choice.
"We are more than just friends. It's obvious."
After the episode aired, Reece appeared to have enough of the pair and took to Twitter to simply say: "Hi everyone, I will no longer be supporting Stephanie Davis... Thanks for all your support and love you have given me!!"
