Eva Longoria has denied reports that her close friend Victoria Beckham is to design her wedding dress.
The actress was discussing her upcoming wedding to Jose Antonio Baston on The Wendy Williams Show when she made the comments. It had previously been claimed that the 40-year-old's best friend and former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer would be in charge of the bride's dress. However, Longoria has now said that isn't true, and she isn't even sure what kind of ceremony she and her husband-to-be will have.
She explained: "I'm advocating for eloping. I don't know if I'm going to get away with that though."
On the wedding dress rumours, she added: "I don't know. I haven't given it one though, but it is in the news that she is. I haven't even talked to Victoria about it."
According to The Express, a PR for Beckham confirmed the news saying: "Victoria Beckham does not produce wedding dresses and has no current plans to expand the collection to include bridal wear."
Longoria and Baston, who is the director and president of Television and Contents at Televisa, have been in a relationship since 2013.
