Earlier this month, Rihanoff used the reality television show to tell her fellow housemates – and the general public – that she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Ben Cohen.
The 36-year-old dancer and former rugby player Cohen met in 2013 when they were partnered during that year's series of Strictly Come Dancing. The pair were subject to romance rumours throughout the competition, but they denied they were ever involved. Cohen's 10-year marriage to his wife Abby ended shortly after the show ended. Last year, Cohen and Rihanoff confirmed they were in a relationship. Cohen and Abby have twin 10-year-old daughters together.
The way Rihanoff revealed the news has been met with a mixed response. Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, Dell'Olio told the hosts that she was unimpressed with how Rihanoff shared her pregnancy. She said: "I didn't like it. I was shocked that she was making this announcement and taking this opportunity. I mean, it was a lack of good taste.
"[She was] trying to do something to gain back some reputation."
It is understood neither Abby, nor her daughters, were aware that Cohen was to become a father again until his partner mentioned it on the show.
