The Olympic swimmer shared the details as he spoke to the media on the red carpet premiere of Cirque Du Soleil: Amaluna at London's Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday night.
He is quoted by the Daily Star as saying: "All of my fiancé's family live in America as he is American, but he wants it [the wedding] to be in the UK. Obviously, I want it to be here too."
Daley, 21, and his partner started dating in 2013. They announced their engagement in October last year, choosing to reveal their news in an announcement in The Times newspaper. It read: "The engagement is announced between Tom, son of Robert and Debra Daley of Plymouth, and Lance, son of Jeff Bisch of Philadelphia and Anne Bisch of Lake Providence."
The couple later confirmed the news via their social media accounts.
