Wayne and Colleen Rooney have welcomed their third child.
Confirming the birth of their son, the footballer took to Twitter to also share the name of their newborn. In a short message on Sunday, the 30-year-old said: "Our gorgeous little boy arrived today. Kit Joseph Rooney. 8Ib 1oz. We are over the moon."
He later shared a photo of himself meeting his son, which he captioned: "Meeting Kit for the first time. Home time now."
Coleen, 29, and Wayne started dating when they were 16 years old. They married in Portofino, Italy, in June 2008. Their first child, a son named Kai, was born in November 2009. Their second son, Klay, was born in May 2013. In July 2015, the couple announced they were expecting their third child together.
