"He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik's mouth and chin.As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world."
Tyra has previously spoken about her fertility problems in September.
During a discussion with FABLife co-host Chrissy Teigen, who also has fertility struggles, she said: "I want to co-sign what Chrissy is saying and say 'You have no idea what people are going through,'.
"Why am I crying? You just have no idea what people are going through, so when you ask Chrissy that or me that or anybody that, it is none of your frigging business, okay?
"And for any women, it is none of your business what somebody is going through. Whether they want to have a child or don't ever want to have a child or may have a child on the way, it's none of your business, okay? Until somebody wants to make it your business."
