Frank Lampard Discusses Family

Frank Lampard has admitted his wife Christine Bleakley initially found it "difficult" to be a stepmother to his two daughters.

Appearing on The Morning, the former Chelsea footballer explained: "It's been a long game and you develop it slowly and fair play to all of them. I'm the bystander in that situation, but the girls love Christine and vice versa."

Lampard and Bleakley, both 37, tied the knot in December 2015, having first met in October 2009 at the Pride of Britain Awards. However, it was only when the couple had been dating for a year, did he decide to introduce his girlfriend to his two daughters; Luna, 10, and eight-year-old Isla, from his previous relationship to Elen Rivas.
