Adele has revealed that becoming a mother is the best thing she has ever done.
Speaking to The Sun, the 27-year-old opened up slightly about her family life, and becoming a mother, saying: "It's the greatest thing I ever did. Now I have a purpose. I want him [Angelo] to be proud of me and understand why I do this."
Just last week, the singer also thanked her family during one of her acceptance speeches at the BRIT Awards. Receiving the Global Success Award by astronaut Tim Peake, an emotional Adele told the audience: "I can't work out if I'm crying because of that video [of her career highlights], or because Tim Peake did it. My kid is going to think I'm so cool.
"I got so lost for a while and didn't know if I could come back and for you all to be so kind to me is amazing. I want to thank my manager and my amazing boyfriend."
Adele, who is notoriously private when it comes to her family and personal life, is said to have started dating Simon Konecki in the summer of 2011. In June 2012, it was revealed that the couple were expecting their first child together. Their son, Angelo, was born in October 2012.
