The couple married during a ceremony at Spencer House in London today, 04 March.
It is the fourth marriage for 84-year-old Murdoch and the first for Miss Hall, who is 59.
The pair are believed to have started dating in the summer of 2015, and announced their engagement in January of this year.
In addition to today's ceremony, it is understood the newlyweds will also hold a private ceremony of celebration tomorrow (Saturday, 05 March) at London's St Bride's Church, Fleet Street.
