The rapper made the confession during a recent appearance on On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Azalea, 25, added that the couple are still planning to tie the knot, but they have pushed back the date of their big day so that she can go on tour.
She explained: "I'm planning my wedding, actually moved my wedding 'cause I have to tour, so my wedding plans are changing.
"It was going to happen at the end of the year but now I have to go to work so we'll probably have to wait until the end of the next basketball season to do that. So that kind of is a bit sucky, but it's all right."
Azalea and Young, a basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers, started dating in November 2013. They announced their engagement in June 2015.
