The pair went on holiday after it emerged Vernon had reportedly been texting model Rhian Sugden for a second time.
According to Closer magazine the pair argued during the trip and Tess is adamant their marriage is far from fixed.
An insider told Closer magazine: “Tess and Vernon argued non-stop. Vernon was trying to do everything he could to win Tess round, but it just seemed to make things worse.
“Almost everything he did wound her up - even nice things he planned, like romantic meals.
“Tess told him it is going to take more than a holiday to fix them.”
However, The Mirror contacted Vernon's publicist who claimed the story had been "fabricated by Closer magazine".
Tess's representative also told The Mirror: "There's no substance to Closer's story."
