James 'Arg' Argent has confirmed he and his girlfriend Lydia Bright are "on a break".
There has been speculation over the past week that the pair had once again called time on their romance, but now Arg has confirmed the news in an interview with Heat magazine.
Speaking to the publication, he said: "Me and Lydia are on a bit of a break at the moment. Of course I'm hoping that we'll get back together in the near future. She's away in Bali, which wasn't a holiday to get away from me. It was something she'd had booked in for a while."
A representative for Bright has also confirmed the couple's separation, but she has not commented on the split herself.
Bright and Argent have dated on and off for the past seven years, before they both starred on reality television show The Only Way Is Essex.
